Kailzie Gardens Restaurant, by Peebles
The
fully-licensed Restaurant situated in the old Stable Square has been carefully
converted to retain as many of the original features as possible.
The main
dining room in the old Coach House still has the original panelling. The
original stalls and loose boxes form an extension to this area.
The restaurant seats up to 72 people, serving traditional home cooking and light snacks 10.30am to 5.30pm daily.
We have recently launched a new carvery on Sundays, serving between 12am-3pm - advance booking preferred.
You can expect 2 roasts (also sometimes Kailzie trout) and a choice of potatoes and vegetables, with homemade yorkshire puddings, gravy, horseradish sauce, apple sauce and other condiments. Great value at £7.50 for adults and £4.50 for children (including ice cream for afters!)
Traditional afternoon tea is also served featuring home-baked scones and meringues.
There are two rooms in the restaurant, both non-smoking, families welcome with our new kids menu.
The restaurant is under new management from December 2008.
Bookings can be made for functions - weddings, birthdays, christenings, club dinners, commercial events and many other occasions.
Disabled parking is available close to the restaurant (please advise when booking) which is wheelchair friendly and has a disabled toilet.
Coach parties welcome by prior arrangement.
